Team Boatworks has earned their first victory of the season!
Team member Jason Neagle earned 1st place at Board Up Miami in the Mens Masters division. It was Jason's first tournament victory of the 2008 season. Winning his division earned him the chance to ride in the finals with the pros.
In the pro heat Jason was matched up against Rusty Malinoski , Adam Errington, and Austin Hair. Now that's a pretty tough crowd to go up against. He came in fifth in his pro heat. For the final trick of his pass he threw a rally to tumble turn and coasted into the start dock earning both the praise of the crowd and a high five from Rusty.
X-Wake would also like to congratulate Nick Brown of the Rough Riders club on his first place finish in the Jr. Boys division, and Taylor McCullough's first place finish in the Jr. Girls!!
Congrats to our local riders!!!
Jimmy LaRiche beat out all the other riders to earn the top spot in the Men's division at the 3rd annual Board Up Miami.
Emily Durham rode away with the title for the Women's division.

Spring is upon us. That can only mean one thing, the wakeboarding season is about to begin. This year Boatworks has brought Jason Neagle onboard as our Promo Boat Team Member. Jason will be pulling this pimped out Mastercraft X-Star to all the INT Tournaments as well as providing KY's wakeboarders the opportunity to ride behind the X-Star on a regular basis. If you're training for a tournament or just want to experience the legendary wake this boat puts out, contact Jason or Boatworks for the hook-up. We're very excited to have Jason as a part of the Boatworks Team!
Jason will be available through out the summer for lessons and will be on Taylorsville Lake on select week nights.
